About the Role:
As an A&P Mechanic III, you'll inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft to ensure safety and compliance with FAA standards. You'll work on airframes, engines, and related systems using specialized tools and manuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on aircraft.
- Diagnose and replace faulty parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
Requirements:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification (no violations).
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
- Pass hearing, vision (Ishihara), and physical exams.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
Preferred:
- Experience in FAA repair stations or Quality Assurance.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations.
- Aerospace/Defense or Military background.
- Ability to travel and work flexible shifts.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED (higher degree may substitute experience).
Other:
- Safety-sensitive position; may require security clearance.
