Position Summary
We are seeking a Mid-Level Golang Developer with strong experience building scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with Golang microservices, MongoDB, AWS, and Kubernetes, and enjoys working closely with senior engineers and offshore teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Golang microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC
- Build and optimize MongoDB schemas and queries (CRUD operations)
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, S3)
- Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments with Helm
- Implement observability using Open Telemetry and monitoring via Datadog
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration
Required Qualifications
- 7 9 years of software development experience
- 4+ years of hands-on Golang development
- Strong experience with MongoDB
- Proven experience deploying applications on AWS
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Familiarity with Open Telemetry and Datadog
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
- Comfortable with Linux, TDD, and Git workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience in EV telematics, subscription platforms, or usage-based billing
- Exposure to payment systems (Stripe, Zuora, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Crypto)
- Front-end exposure using Vue.js or React.js
