Salary Range
$90,000.00 - $135,000.00
Overview
Operate and Support Security Infrastructure: Manages and supports key security platforms and infrastructure including logging, alerting, and analytics systems ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with operational requirements. Enable Data-Driven.
Security Operations: Builds data pipelines, integrations, and automation to collect, normalize, and analyze security telemetry from diverse sources to support monitoring, detection, and incident response functions.
Contribute to Security Tooling and Automation: Develops scripts and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and enhance visibility across the security ecosystem.
Collaborate Across Security Workstreams: Works closely with information security teams to align metrics, improve detection coverage, and ensure security platforms meet evolving institutional needs. Document and Continuously Improve
Processes: Maintains documentation for security tools, data models, and processes; identifies opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and platform resilience.

Principal Responsibilities
1. Responsible for routine to moderately complex event and incident monitoring, threat detection and data correlation.
2. Assist with collecting potential breach evidence, participate in network and host forensic analysis, participate with incident remediation activities.
3. Meet with stakeholders to assess departments security requirements.
4. Assist in the development of security standards and best practices.
5. Research the latest information security trends and emerging threats.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with systems analysis methods and techniques.
