About this opportunity:
  • We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated candidate who excels in database management, ETL processes (data extraction, transformation and loading), scripting and possess strong technical expertise in developing reports using business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of business finance, enabling effective analysis and presentation of financial progress. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial analytical framework for the leadership team of an organizational unit and enabling data scientists to develop more advanced solutions.
  • The Financial Analyst responsible for driving financial performance, governance and reporting. This role combines analytical rigor, business partnering, and data/automation capabilities to ensure accurate period-end closing and actionable business insights. The analyst will support data management processes, maintain data security, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within Business Finance.

What you will do:

Financial Performance & Closing-
  • Analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Working Capital.
  • Perform quality checks during Period End Closing (PEC), drive corrective adjustments with stakeholders.
  • Build financial models and scenarios to support decision-making.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation and explanations.

Reporting, Data & Automation-
  • Improve data quality, drive automation, and enable self-service analytics across the unit.
  • Explore and apply advanced analytics (ML/AI) to improve predictability and performance insights.

Business Partnering & Insights-
  • Provide fact-based commercial and operational insights that connect financials to business drivers.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting directives, SOX/ABC controls and Code of Business Ethics.

Digital Competence & Continuous Improvement-
  • Continuously build digital and analytics skills; identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and predictive capabilities.

  • Experience in Reporting Tools like Power BI, SSRS, QlikView or other such tools
  • Advanced Excel Skills

Eligibility requirements:
  • 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • Available for a full-time internship for 12 week
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or Masters on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
