Job Roles/Responsibilities:
Design and develop ThoughtSpot Worksheets, Liveboards, Pinboards, or Sigma Dashboards & Workbooks.
Build interactive, selfservice analytics with a focus on usability and performance.
Implement data modeling, join logic, and semantic layer configurations.
Optimize dashboard performance, query response times, and compute footprints.
Data Engineering & Scripting
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries (window functions, CTEs, performance tuning).
Develop Python scripts for:
- Data transformations
- Automation of reporting pipelines
- API integrations (ThoughtSpot APIs / Sigma APIs)
- Data ingestion and validation tasks
Data Integration & Governance
- Work with data engineering teams to define and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and consistency across analytical layers.
- Apply security best practices—rowlevel security, role-based access, and workspace governance.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies—refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives.
- Prepare documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and training for end users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good experience in analytics/BI development.
- Hands-on experience in ThoughtSpot or Sigma Computing.
- Strong SQL expertise (analytical functions, optimization, data modeling).
- Proficiency in Python scripting (Pandas, data manipulation, APIs).
- Good understanding of relational and semistructured data (JSON, Parquet).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholderfacing skills.
