Quantitative Engineer

Position: Quantitative Engineer 

Location: Fairfox, VA (onsite)

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

Requires strong programming skills and object-oriented concepts.
•       Technical Skills Required:
o       Must-have:
§       Proficiency in Python (primary language) and SQL.
§       Experience with AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Redshift, EMR, Lambda).
§       Strong programming background and ability to set up infrastructure.
o       Preferred:
§       Knowledge of R, Java (latest version), Spring Framework, Unix platforms.
§       Familiarity with GitLab (transitioning from Bitbucket) and Terraform.
§       Database and reporting experience with Oracle.
•       Other Requirements:
o      Senior-level candidate with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
o       Strong communication skills, problem-solving, and proactive approach.
o       Comfortable in a fast-paced, specification-light environment; able to translate high-level requirements into design and implementation.
o       Process improvement mindset.
