Position Summary
IRG Clients is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager Consultant to lead Medicaid Systems Operational Management. This role will oversee the operations, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems that enable Medicaid application intake, eligibility determination, enrollment, case maintenance, and member management. The position also serves as the operational lead for project collaboration platforms, currently the Atlassian Suite, and will manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and compliance activities in a high-availability, security-sensitive environment.
This role requires availability for after-hours support during releases and unplanned incidents and close collaboration with internal IT, security, architecture, and vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and oversee operational support for Medicaid enterprise systems, including the Data Operations Hub, Member Management System, Atlassian Suite, and related platforms.
- Manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams providing Production Support, Helpdesk, Interface Support, and Operational Services.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for internal and external issues; ensure timely resolution and clear communication to leadership and stakeholders.
- Direct incident, change, and release management processes, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and ITIL-aligned practices.
- Coordinate with vendors, Office of Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and contract monitors to ensure SLA compliance and system reliability.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert during audits, CMS/SSA compliance reviews, and security testing; track findings through closure.
- Monitor and manage system licensing, infrastructure capacity, and support contracts to ensure uninterrupted operations and cost optimization.
- Develop dashboards and executive-level reports to communicate system health, risks, and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and reduce operational costs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performance work environment while promoting workforce engagement and accountability.
Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience managing enterprise system operations and/or administrative functions.
- 3+ years of project management experience supporting large-scale application or infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to provide on-call and after-hours incident management support.
- Experience managing and coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems for application and production support.
Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience supporting or managing Medicaid or large public-sector enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated people-management and team leadership skills.
- Strong presentation and executive reporting capabilities.
- AWS Cloud certifications.
- Atlassian Suite administration experience (Jira, Confluence, Service Management).
