Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled COSMOS & Microsoft BI Developer with strong experience in large-scale data processing, SQL development, and BI visualization using Power BI.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft COSMOS BDP (Big Data Platform), SCOPE scripting, and building automated, scalable data pipelines to support enterprise analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Processing
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SCOPE scripts for large-scale data processing within Microsoft COSMOS BDP.
- Write, manage, and tune complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Automate end-to-end data pipelines for efficient and reliable data movement and reporting.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize insights, performance trends, and KPIs.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to support business decisions across engineering and product teams.
Collaboration & Governance
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, BI, product, operations) to develop and implement data-driven strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, integrity, and security across COSMOS and BI environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft COSMOS BDP and SCOPE scripting.
- Expertise in writing highly optimized SQL for large datasets (distributed SQL, performance tuning).
- Proven experience building interactive and scalable Power BI dashboards.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data governance.
- Experience automating workflows and data pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse.
- Familiarity with Kusto (KQL) or Log Analytics.
- Knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced Power BI modeling techniques.
