Description: Our client is currently seeking a M365 CMMC Engineer

Job Title: M365 CMMC Engineer

Location: Westminster, CO

Duration: 6 Months (Contract to Hire/Extend)

About the Role:

The M365 CMMC engineer will lead the secure design, configuration, and migration of SharePoint and Teams content in Vantor's CMMC Microsoft 365 environment.

Required Skills:

Ability to communicate between engineering teams and executive leadership, translating technical insights into business impact.
PROVEN experience designing and configuring Teams and SharePoint in a NIST 800-171 or CMMC Level 2 environment, including configuring unique permissions.
Proven experience configuring a migration tool (preferably AvePoint), developing a migration process, and migrating to and from a Microsoft GCC-High (GCCH) environment.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to work with data owners to plan, prepare, and execute migrations together.
Provide configuration documentation and audit evidence for compliance frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated success in building and hardening Microsoft environments to NIST 800-171 or CMMC Level 2 standards.
Deep knowledge of SharePoint and Teams capabilities and their permission models in a hardened environment.
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Agile Methodology experience with JIRA usage a plus.
