Programmer Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in programming and application development to design and implement solutions that meet organizational needs. This is a Contract to long-term opportunity within the energy and natural resources sector, offering the potential for ongoing growth.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software applications using .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy technical solutions.
Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to manage databases and ensure data integrity.
Implement and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules to align with business processes.
Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues within ServiceNow applications.
Create and modify workflows and scripts on the ServiceNow platform.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities.
Analyze system requirements and translate them into scalable application designs.
Document processes and maintain clear records of software development activities.
Monitor application performance and optimize systems as needed.

Requirements

Proficiency in .NET programming, including C# and ASP.NET.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and SQL Server database management.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and implementation.
Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM modules and platform customization.
Ability to create workflows and scripts within ServiceNow applications.
Solid troubleshooting skills for addressing technical issues.
Excellent analytical skills for translating requirements into functional designs.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and supporting users.
