Logistics Coordinator

Summary

Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support efficient and compliant inbound and outbound shipping operations, with a strong emphasis on international logistics. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track all inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues.
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
• Manage international shipments, including import/export documentation and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable import/export laws, trade regulations, and sanctions.
• Partner with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking details, and documentation logs.
• Prepare reports on shipping activity, costs, and delivery performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping-related inquiries and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping coordination.
• Working knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve shipping issues.
• Comfortable managing multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with shipping systems, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Duration: 12 months with extension

Salary Range: $30 $34/HR (DOE)
