Level: Mid-level Individual Contributor (Business Intelligence / Data Analytics)
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst - MMS role is responsible for supporting the divestiture activities for the MMS Separation through accurate, timely, and actionable procurement data and analytics. This role partners closely with sourcing & category management, procurement, finance, and legal stakeholders to ensure data integrity, enable informed decision-making, and track key milestones throughout the divestiture lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Extract, validate, and share supplier and sourcing project data for divestiture activities.
Maintain sourcing and procurement data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
Develop data governance standards for divestiture-related activities.
Design dashboards to monitor procurement performance, milestones, and key divestiture metrics.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies between systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with sourcing, procurement, finance, and legal teams to align data requirements with divestiture objectives.
Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Support ERP and other system changes related to divestiture activities.
Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
Support ad-hoc analysis and requests from key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
Experience working with ERP systems and procurement-related data.
Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and Salesforce, with the ability to create executive-level reports and dashboards.
- Experience in data analysis tools such as Excel or SQL query language
- Experience with process automation and identifying operational efficiencies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for data integrity and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships.
- Experience working with procurement, sourcing, or supply chain data strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar) and related procurement modules.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling); experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with comfort presenting to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
