Senior Data Center/ Network Consultant

Contract Details
Duration: 12 months initial (Feb 2026 Feb 2027)
Extensions: Up to 2 additional 12-month terms
Location: Onsite Greater Sacramento, CA (mandatory)
Pay Range: $60.00/ hr - $80.00/ hr W2 (depending on experience)

Mandatory Skill Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Consultant must have minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
Juniper & Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
VMware NSX (data center context)
Fortinet firewalls
Data center network architecture, deployment & advanced troubleshooting
Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, RIPv2
Cisco IOS & Juniper JunOS
MPLS, QoS, VoIP, Wireless
IPSEC, encryption, load balancing
Experience leading installation teams
Strong documentation & design skills
Working knowledge of PMI / project management practices.
