| Job Description | Hi, .Net Engineer X3 - Cotiviti- 100% remote Job Description Use your technical expertise to make a real difference in the healthcare industry. We are looking for an experienced .NET Engineer who is ready to go beyond simple coding someone who wants to architect high-impact solutions, mentor a growing team, and drive innovation within our critical product suite. If you are a C# expert with a passion for solving complex data challenges that improve patient and business outcomes, we want to hear from you. Job Responsibilities Job Duties - Hands-on Coding & Development (approx. 50-60%) Building Features: They will be writing code primarily in C# and to create new software modules or enhance existing ones for the Cotiviti product suite. Full Stack Work: They won't just stay in the backend; they will also be touching the frontend interface using JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap to ensure the user experience is smooth. Database Management: They will spend significant time in SQL Server, writing complex queries, stored procedures, and creating views to handle large healthcare datasets. 2. Troubleshooting & "Firefighting" (approx. 20%) Debugging: When internal teams or external customers report a bug, this person is the one digging into the code to find the root cause and fix it. Architecture & Planning (approx. 15%) Documentation: Before writing code, they will document exactly how a new feature should work. This means writing technical specifications and design docs so everyone agrees on the plan before "production roll-out." Innovation: They are expected to look at the current systems and say, "Is there a better way to do this?" They will research new tools or libraries (like Telerik or new .NET features) to improve efficiency. 4. Leadership & Mentorship (approx. 10-15%) Mentoring: They will act as a "big sibling" to less experienced developers answering their technical questions, reviewing their code to ensure it meets standards, and teaching them best practices. Communication: They will serve as a bridge between the technical team and business leadership, explaining technical issues in a way that non-technical managers can understand. Job Requirements - Essential Functions & Principal Responsibilities: Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite. Analyze and resolve software-related issues originating from internal or external customers. Document specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll-out.
