Solutions Architect

Juno is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to help drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on designing and delivering cloud-native, API-first digital platforms that enable scalable, secure, and seamless customer and partner experiences.

As a Solution Architect, you will operate at the intersection of business strategy, product delivery, and technology execution. You will partner closely with Product Owners, Agile delivery teams, and senior technology leaders to translate business needs into resilient, future-ready technical solutions built primarily on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using Microsoft Azure and modern cloud services

• Lead solution architecture for complex initiatives involving APIs, microservices, and data platforms

• Translate business requirements into reusable, maintainable technical designs

• Define and maintain solution architecture documentation aligned with enterprise standards

API & Data Platform Leadership

• Architect API-first platforms and digital portals using modern web technologies (React, Node.js)

• Guide teams on microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns

• Support data platform design leveraging Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Delta Lake, and Synapse Analytics

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Provide hands-on architectural guidance during implementation

• Collaborate with senior architects on roadmaps and future-state designs

Governance & Quality

• Ensure solutions adhere to architectural standards, security requirements, and best practices

• Balance architectural governance with delivery speed and agility

• Continuously improve architecture patterns, standards, and processes

Thought Leadership & Coaching

• Serve as a technical thought leader across application, API, and cloud architecture

• Coach and mentor engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure (including hybrid environments)

• Strong expertise in API-first design, microservices, and event-driven architectures

• Experience with Azure Databricks and modern data platforms

• Proficiency with modern application stacks such as React, Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, or SQL

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business language

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305 or equivalent)

• TOGAF® and/or ArchiMate® certification

• Experience in financial services, lending, leasing, or other regulated industries

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, monitoring, and logging

• Background in software development and modern delivery methodologies
