Luna Data Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and operate modern integration solutions across public and on-premises cloud environments. You will work closely with technical teams to build and maintain complex applications, perform proof-of-concepts, and mentor other developers.
*Please note: You must be able to work on a W2 basis unencumbered to be considered.*
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and operate integration components and applications.
- Automate processes during development and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Operations, Security, Compliance).
- Prototype and validate designs and delivery patterns.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 21, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with software integration solutions, Oracle/PostgreSQL, and messaging systems (JMS/AMQP, Kafka).
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SOAP, REST/JSON, OpenAPI, GraphQL.
- Experience with Azure messaging tools (API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
