Oracle Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, design, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will work on complex enterprise applications, lead database development efforts, and ensure high performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, sequences)

• Develop complex PL/SQL programs including procedures, functions, packages, triggers

• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability

• Perform data modeling, schema design, and database normalization

• Support ETL/data migration activities and large data volumes

• Collaborate with application, QA, and DevOps teams to support releases

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

• Implement security, auditing, and data governance standards

• Mentor junior developers and review code

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

• Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c

• Experience with performance tuning (EXPLAIN PLAN, AWR, indexes, partitions)

• Strong understanding of data modeling and relational database design

• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting (preferred)
