Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Java Back-End Developer to support enterprise healthcare platforms at Optum Technology. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot, modern API frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms.
This role focuses on backend development, API integration, and data-driven services, with exposure to emerging technologies including GenAI-enabled solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience building and consuming APIs using GraphQL
- Hands-on experience with Hasura
- Solid experience working with Snowflake (data integration, querying, performance optimization)
- Experience with OCM (Operational/Order/Cloud Management) or similar enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and RESTful services
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills
- High-level understanding of infrastructure setup and configuration
- Prior experience working with or integrating GenAI solutions
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience in healthcare or regulated enterprise environments
