We are seeking a Manager, Portfolio Management responsible for leading and overseeing a technology portfolio that aligns with strategic business objectives and client needs. This role focuses on portfolio governance, demand management, planning, and value realization across multiple technology programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Establish, manage, and enhance a portfolio management framework aligned with organizational strategy.
Partner with Client Success leadership to identify, evaluate, and prioritize technology programs and projects that support client goals.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand portfolio requirements and translate them into improvements in portfolio and program management practices.
Provide guidance and support to program and project teams to ensure consistent execution.
Lead quarterly and annual planning activities to align business demand, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Monitor and report on portfolio performance, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Support portfolio financial management by optimizing resource allocation and tracking budget utilization.
Measure and communicate value realization and outcomes for clients.
Build strong relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, and technology partners.
Identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio-level risks and issues.
Communicate portfolio status, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders and leadership.
Own governance of the intake and demand management process, partnering with Client Success leadership to align business demand with delivery capacity.
Ensure consistent intake, prioritization, and alignment of demand with IT capabilities.
Drive client-facing quarterly and annual planning in collaboration with Client Success leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in portfolio management within a technology environment.
Bachelor s degree in technology, business, finance, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of project and portfolio management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a service-oriented, customer-focused mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Power BI, and Excel; experience with AI and prompt engineering is a plus.
Ability to prioritize, delegate, and develop high-performing teams.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
