Role Summary:

The Data Conversion Lead will manage end-to-end data migration activities for a large Tax System Modernization program. This role focuses on planning and executing legacy-to-COTS data conversions, defining data mapping and transformation rules, leading ETL activities, validating converted data, and ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance. The lead will work closely with vendors, SMEs, DBAs, architects, and testing teams to support UAT, training, and production cutovers while enabling successful retirement of legacy systems.

Key Skills Required:

5+ years of large-scale data conversion and legacy system modernization
Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Erwin Data Modeler
Data governance, data quality, reconciliation, and validation
ETL oversight, data mapping, and transformation
Government tax/revenue system experience preferred
Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and risk management skills
