Job Title: Data Center Technician (Multiple Levels: L3, L4, Lead)Location: Mount Pleasant, WI 53403

About the RoleWe are seeking
experienced Data Center Technicians to join our team supporting an enterprise data center operations. This role involves hands-on work with cutting-edge technology, including large-scale GPU deployments, server infrastructure, and network systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, troubleshooting hardware, and maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.
Position Levels- Lead Technician: 5+ years of leadership or management experience in data center operations.
- L4 Technician: 5+ years of dedicated data center experience, with expertise in troubleshooting large GPU deployments.
- L3 Technician: 3+ years of data center experience.
Shift Options- A-Side Days: Sun, Mon, Tue & every other Wed | 6 AM - 6 PM
- A-Side Nights: Same days | 6 PM - 6 AM
- B-Side Days: Thu, Fri, Sat & every other Wed | 6 AM - 6 PM
- B-Side Nights: Same days | 6 PM - 6 AM
Key Responsibilities- Perform break-fix and deployment tasks for GPUs, servers, network devices, and cabling.
- Manage tickets using ITSM tools and ensure timely resolution.
- Rack and stack servers, switches, and network racks; perform baying, leveling, grounding, and containment setup.
- Interpret BOMs and validate materials for projects.
- Install, test, and label copper and fiber infrastructure (SM, MM, MPO).
- Handle optical modules (SFP, QSFP) and clean fibers (SC, LC, MPO).
- Configure IP addresses, update firmware, and assist network admins with troubleshooting.
- Lead and manage team activities, ensuring compliance with safety and data center standards.
- Provide project oversight, documentation, and status updates.
- Travel as required for deployments and support.
Required Skills & Experience- 3-10+ years of data center deployment and/or break-fix experience.
- Proven experience with GPU or network rack deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet cabling technologies (copper, fiber, routing, dressing).
- Familiarity with optical modules and fiber cleaning techniques.
- Experience with DC power systems and enterprise-level telecom designs.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills (MS Office proficiency).
- Experience working in a data center environments preferred.
Top Skills- Data center operations (deployment, troubleshooting, break-fix)
- GPU deployment experience (highly preferred)
- Hardware installation and cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber optics)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $49.50/hr.
