QA Analyst III

We are seeking an experienced QA III professional with specialized expertise in native mobile application testing. This role focuses on ensuring quality across our mobile ecosystem, including iOS and Android front-end applications, APIs, and backend systems. The ideal candidate will balance manual testing expertise with strong automation capabilities to drive quality and efficiency across our development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
* Test Automation (50%): Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS/Android), APIs, and backend services using industry best practices and our automation framework
* Manual Testing (15%): Create and execute comprehensive manual test cases for mobile applications and APIs based on user stories and requirements
* Automated Test Execution (10%): Execute and monitor automated test suites as part of Sprint/Release cycles using BrowserStack and continuous integration pipelines
* Test Strategy (10%): Define and communicate testing strategy and approach for mobile releases, collaborating with Product Teams for each Sprint/Release
* Quality Advocacy (10%): Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' within Scrum teams, ensuring quality standards are met across all mobile touchpoints
* Documentation (5%): Document test processes, automation designs, test results, and quality analysis in QTest and other tools

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of QA experience with focus on mobile application testing
* 3+ years of hands-on experience testing native iOS and Android applications
* 3+ years developing and executing automated test scripts (UI and API level)
* 2+ years of API and backend testing experience
* 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Experience with mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack required)
* Proficiency with test management tools (QTest required)
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
* Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

Technical Skills Required
* Mobile automation frameworks
* API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
* BrowserStack for cross-device mobile testing
* QTest for test case management and execution tracking
* Programming/scripting languages for test automation (Java, Python, JavaScript)
* Version control systems (Git)

Desired Skills
* Experience with performance and load testing for mobile applications
* Knowledge of mobile security testing practices
* Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and project management
* Experience with accessibility testing for mobile applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
