Senior Software Developers

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for Senior Software Developers. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Designing test plans, test cases and testing strategies; Coordinating software quality assurance manual and automation testing; Reviewing User Stories to ensure technical accuracy, compliance and/or completeness and to mitigate risks; Creating and enhancing comprehensive test plans to capture test strategy, approach and test scripts; Mapping test plans to User Story requirements; Designing and implementing manual and automated tests (functional, usability, regression, integration, end-to-end and performance testing) using various test automation tools, such as Selenium; Developing unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, automated tests and end-to-end tests using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Angular, HTML, CSS, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS, CloudWatch, Code Pipeline, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube and Docker; Developing and implementing test validations of the applications using JUnit; Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the applications to meet project specifications; Maintaining version control using Git; and Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications, systems and databases as required by the project.

Salary: $55.00 to $90.00/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one years' experience in position or IT field

Special requirements: Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Angular, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS, CloudWatch, Code Pipeline, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube and Docker. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
