Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certification Analyst with strong experience in Card Payment Testing & Certification within the Retail, Restaurant, and Fuel Payments domain. The role focuses on ensuring payment solutions comply with industry standards and successfully complete certifications with acquirers, processors, and card brands.
Senior-level candidates are expected to lead certification initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage certification projects end-to-end, including scope definition, test planning, execution, defect resolution, and closure
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Compliance, and Partner teams to ensure certification readiness
• Execute EMV L3 Card Brand Certifications with processors and acquirers
• Execute Fleet Card Certifications with processors, acquirers, and card brands
• Execute Host Message Specification Certifications
• Prepare and review certification artifacts such as test cases, logs, evidence, and reports
• Troubleshoot certification issues and coordinate defect triage with engineering and vendors
• Stay current with industry standards and certification requirements (EMVCo, PCI, ISO 8583)

For Senior Candidates (5+ Years)

• Lead cross-functional certification teams
• Mentor and train junior analysts
• Drive certification process improvements and strategy

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or 3 5 years of experience in Card Payment Certifications
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• EMV Certification tools (FIME BTT, ICCSimTMat, or similar)
• EMV L3 / End-to-End Certification processes
• Host Message Specification Certifications
• Strong understanding of payment transaction flows, ISO 8583 messages, and EMV technical analysis
• Experience with POS / payment terminal platforms and card schemes
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Preferred / Nice to Have

• CSCIP / ETA CPP Certification
• Exposure to PCI standards (PCI-DSS, PCI-PTS)
• Experience in global certification environments
