Description
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer II to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. This role requires collaboration with development and operations teams to enhance system efficiency, ensure performance, and drive automation across processes.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Optimize and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters to ensure scalability and reliability.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions/Workflows and ArgoCD for efficient deployments.
Implement monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana to enhance system performance and reliability.
Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve team efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, and conduct thorough post-mortem analyses.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance application scalability, performance, and resilience.
Advocate for best practices including Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
Continuously evaluate and improve system security, cost efficiency, and overall performance.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineer role.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure-as-code implementations.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and container orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions/Workflows and ArgoCD.
Solid knowledge of observability tools like Grafana; experience with Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo is a plus.
Strong understanding of automation, optimization, and security within cloud environments.
Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is preferred.
