Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Hybrid: Monday - Thursday on-site and Friday Remote.
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Security Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure identity and access management solutions, while proactively monitoring and mitigating emerging security threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security practices across our infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Implement and manage identity solutions using Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access.
- Troubleshoot complex security and networking issues independently.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor emerging security threats and assist in creating detection mechanisms.
- Perform security assessments and penetration testing across systems and networks.
- Maintain and enhance security controls for firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and other critical infrastructure.
- Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot using packet traces to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain high levels of client assurance and confidence.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in security engineering or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and penetration testing.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with HYPR Affirm or other passwordless authentication solutions.
- Familiarity with advanced security technologies such as DDOS mitigation, traffic profiling, wireless security, and VoIP security.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with security implementation projects.
