The position is primarily remote, requiring only occasional/minimal travel to Plano, TX.
As a Cutover Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading all cutover activities to ensure successful deployment. This includes managing the endtoend cutover process, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver seamless transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive comprehensive Cutover masterplan, detailing a list of deliverables with detailed timelines and activities that will be executed by Business, functional technology team members
- Develop comprehensive cutover plan in collaboration with business stakeholders and coordinate business master data cleanup and business cutover incl. business lanes ramp up and ramp up plans
- Coordinate master plan dependencies with subplans for static master data, technical application specific and transactional data cutover plans
- Ensure needed resourcing for plan execution in collaboration with Program management
- Steer and coordinate overall cutover execution gross workstreams and provide regular status updates to Program management
- Facilitate rapid issue resolution and escalate promptly to ensure swift corrective actions
- Coordinate cutover activities that span across multiple applications and teams. Identify risks, dependencies and downstream impacts.
- Manage communications and interactions across technology, functional and business teams helping address key challenges and issues
- Manage scope and schedule of the various cutover activities
- Proactively manage risks associated with Cutover activities, and help plan appropriate mitigations toaddress any challenges
- Prepare contingency backout plans for critical eventualities
- Responsible for ensuring successful planning and execution of integrated release cutover activities and associated system outages
- Maintain a collaborative approach with technology, functional and business teams, providing support in execution of cutover activities
- Ensure adherence to client IT guidelines, proper documentation, and obtain necessary approvals from key stakeholders
Basic Key Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP cutover management or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Deployment CountdownCutover Execution.
- Proven experience in developing and managing comprehensive cutover plans.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and gathering requirements from stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement in cutover execution
- Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and tools.
