Job Details

We are seeking a Technical Analyst to support the analysis, cleansing, and conversion of legacy data into a new pension administration system. The role requires strong analytical skills combined with the ability to create structured documentation, participate in meetings with defined objectives, and maintain accurate reporting through JIRA and project reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze legacy data structures and document requirements and mappings
  • Support cleansing activities by identifying anomalies and inconsistencies
  • Prepare agendas, objectives, and materials for stakeholder meetings
  • Track and log meeting outcomes, issues, and data anomalies in JIRA
  • Assist in bi-weekly reporting and contribute to dashboards and metrics
  • Provide reconciliation and validation documentation to support audits
  • Collaborate with system integrators, consultants, and business stakeholders

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical data analysis
  • Oracle 19c and SQL expertise
  • Oracle Data Migration-related certification
  • Proven ability to deliver structured reports and documentation
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other project tracking tools
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
  • Certified Data Analyst (CDMP - Practitioner)
  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
  • Experience preparing deliverables for independent verification reviews
  • Prior experience with payroll and HR integrations

Schedule:
  • Standard work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST. Work is primarily onsite in New York City; remote work may be approved with prior authorization.
  • Workweek is 35 hours, not including a mandatory unpaid one-hour meal break.
  • The Fund observes 12 official City holidays each year.
  • Any work beyond 35 hours per week or on observed holidays requires prior written approval from the Fund's Project Manager.
  • Consultants may occasionally be required to work after hours, weekends, or holidays.
  • Must be available to respond to high-priority or critical emergencies affecting data systems.
  • Anticipated contract term is two years from Notice to Proceed. Contract may be renewed for up to two additional one-year periods under the same terms and conditions.
