Summary
Title: Azure B2C Administrator
Location: Halifax, CA (Remote)
Duration: Contract
Position Summary:
- This position is responsible for completing any integrations with and configuration of the Client security systems and control systems.
- Integrations include SSO setup in CA SiteMinder and Azure B2C for externally facing applications, as well as in Entra (Azure AD) for internal applications using SSO Header based proxy or latest SSO standard protocol SAML2.0/OAUTH/OIDC.
- Additionally, this position will be responsible for setting up new applications in Azure AD/ AD B2C and building new catalog items in ServiceNow using existing documented processes.
- Finally, this position will be responsible for documenting design and for creating documentation on new/updated applications for the Security Administration Team, SOC, IT HelpDesk, and others, as needed. They will also assist in troubleshooting the supported applications, as necessary.

- Work closely with IS team and across all threads where security applies.
Specific working knowledge of and experience in the following work environments:
- Active directory/ADLDS
- SiteMinder R12.8 and above
- CA Directory and Access gateway
- Azure AD (Entra)
- Azure B2C
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Python
- Graph API knowledge of in Azure AD/B2C
- Azure App Insight and log analytics experience
- Experience in Pipeline setup in Azure pipeline to promote SSO changes or IEF policy/Storage account update will be added advantage.
- .NET and C++ experience in updating or improving existing code will be added advantage.
- Integrated technologies with cross-functional impact
- Data/Computer Operations technology integration and support
- Consult with Security and Infrastructure Services staff to evaluate and implement software systems that provide appropriate security.
- Develop data-driven security metrics and reports.
- Participate in audit both internal and external as required.
- Communicate potential security exposures, misuse, or noncompliance situation to their manager.
- Work closely with business units across all threads where security applies.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT and 5 years in Information Security with a broad range of exposure of operating systems, applications, and networks.
- Demonstrated competency in developing effective security solutions to diverse and complex business problems in a cross-functional environment.
- Has successfully developed and implemented new security technologies. Working knowledge of security controls in multiplatform environments.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with Entra ID
- Strong communication Skills
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: (Include interpersonal skills)
- Requires a strong working knowledge of security controls of web and database application environments.
- Requires an understanding of the role of information security within business. Requires strong team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people. Effectiveness in all aspects of the core business skills including analysis, communication, writing and negotiations.
- Requires the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, project teams, IS department and various software vendors.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
- The employee must understand many complex technological subjects and be able to communicate effectively with others regarding these subjects.
- Consult with Security and IT staff to evaluate and implement software systems that provide appropriate security.
EDUCATION: (Minimum education & certifications required)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience is required. Security certification is desirable.
- Experience in securing enterprise-wide applications and databases required. Maintains or is working towards the CISSP certification or at least Microsoft security certificate (SC-500) is preferred.
