Job Summary
The Oracle ERP Financial Functional Consultant will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Oracle R12 financial modules. The role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring Oracle Finance modules, performing testing, supporting integrations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and SOX requirements. The consultant will partner closely with accounting, business users, and technical teams to deliver best-practice business and system solutions.
Pay - $65/hr - $69/hr

Experience Requirements
7+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP Financial Functional Consultant
Option 1: 5+ years of IT-relevant experience with a Bachelor s degree
Option 2: 7+ years of IT-relevant experience without a Bachelor s degree
Education
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Functional & Configuration
Configure new Operating Units (OUs) and Oracle Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, SLA, FA, Projects, and Costing
Prepare and maintain configuration and functional design documentation
Recommend best-practice solutions aligned with business processes and regulatory requirements
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with accounting teams, key users, and business analysts to gather requirements and align with project roadmaps
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to track project progress, identify risks, and communicate status and impacts
Development & Integration Support
Prepare detailed functional specifications for reports, custom programs, and third-party integrations
Act as liaison between business users and technical developers
Support third-party interfaces (e.g., labor accounting, exchange rates, tax systems)
Testing & Support
Create test plans and test scripts
Conduct end-to-end functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Financial modules and integrations
Work with Oracle Support and external vendors on system issues and bug fixes
Technical & Analytical
