Salesforce Configuration Developer ( Need locals to Texas)

Job Title: Salesforce Configuration Developer

Duration: 11 Months( Part Time)

Location: Austin, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure Salesforce using declarative tools, including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts, record types, and automation features.
• Implement and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and security configurations.
• Support implementation of Salesforce enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes based on documented and approved requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project coordination resources, and Salesforce architects to implement requested Salesforce functionality.
• Support testing activities, including unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of configuration changes.
• Assist with deployment of Salesforce configuration changes using agency-approved tools and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce configuration and functional issues as needed.
• Maintain documentation related to Salesforce configuration, changes, and implemented functionality.
• Support ongoing Salesforce platform administration activities as requested.
• Perform general Salesforce configuration and declarative development services to support effective Salesforce service delivery.
• Provide hands-on Salesforce platform configuration and declarative development support for Salesforce-based solutions.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce functionality in alignment with approved business requirements, architectural guidance, and agency standards.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Professional experience configuring and supporting Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms in a production environment.
• 4+ years of Experience using Salesforce declarative tools, including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, record types, and page layouts.
• 4+ years of Experience implementing and maintaining Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and security configurations.
• 3+ years of Experience supporting Salesforce enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes based on documented business requirements.
• 3+ years of Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical resources to implement Salesforce functionality.
• 2+ years of Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), for Salesforce changes.

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years of Experience supporting Salesforce deployments and change management using structured release or deployment processes.
• 2+ years of Experience troubleshooting Salesforce configuration and functional issues in a live production environment.
• 2+ years of Experience supporting Salesforce administration activities, including user management and permissions.
• 1+ years of Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• 1+ years of Experience supporting Salesforce solutions in a government or public-sector environment.
