Job Description
Location: Burlington, MA or Santa Clara, CA
The ideal candidate will have high level of experience in configuring, running and submitting Windows and VMware certification for Intel and AMD servers. The candidate should have experience in running and submitting WCHL certifications including working with Microsoft on customer support tickets to resolve issues confronted during the testing process. The candidate should also have experience configuring and submitting VMware ESXi server certification and knowledgeable in the VMware vSphere ecosystem, incouding setting up complex test setup and using the latest VMware infrastructure tools. Good understanding of Windows and VMware internals to help with debugging and triaging issues seen during the bring up process.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you you be responsible to work with the hardware and the platform software teams (BIOS, BMC) in bringing up new releases of Windows and VMware ESXi. You will need good understanding of Intel and AMD processor architecture to help debug issues seen during the system bring up process.. You are expected to debug issues at any level in the OS boot process including PCI, NVMe and network drivers. You are expected to know how to evaluate any CPU and IO performance related issues and bottlenecks. You must have a working knowledge of Windows power shell scripting and Windbg to help with issues found in Windows OS. You are expected to know Broadcom and Windows customer support tools to submit cases to these OS vendors and work through them in a timely fashion to meet Oracle deadlines. As part of OCI, you will be expected to be on-call to support OCI fleet operational problems to ensure that our data centers operate optimally. We expect strong communication skills and ability to engage with vendors to meet deadlines to complete testing and certification of Oracle products.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
