Job Title: Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant – OTL & Payroll
Location:- Remote
Experience:
- 15+ years of overall experience and 7+ years overall Oracle HCM (Payroll and OTL) experience
- Minimum 7+ years on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (OTL & Payroll)
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and Payroll modules. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end functional ownership, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, payroll validation, and post-go-live support. This is a client-facing role requiring deep functional knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle HCM – Payroll
- Lead Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations and support activities.
- Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, costing, and statutory components.
- Handle payroll processing cycles, retro-pay, reversals, and adjustments.
- Ensure accurate payroll calculations and compliance with business and statutory requirements.
- Perform payroll reconciliation, validation, and parallel payroll runs.
- Support payroll audits and year-end activities.
Oracle HCM – Time & Labor (OTL)
- Configure Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) including work schedules, time categories, absence integration, and approvals.
- Manage time entry rules, overtime calculations, and integration with Payroll.
- Troubleshoot OTL issues impacting payroll accuracy.
- Support complex time policies and workforce scheduling scenarios.
Functional & Client Engagement
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration.
- Prepare functional design documents (FDD), configuration workbooks, and test scenarios.
- Lead UAT support, defect resolution, and client sign-offs.
- Work closely with technical teams for integrations, reports, and fast formulas.
- Provide post-production support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll and OTL.
- In-depth understanding of payroll concepts: earnings, deductions, taxes, retro processing.
- Solid experience with Fast Formulas (Payroll & OTL).
- Strong functional configuration skills (not just theoretical knowledge).
- Experience in at least one full Oracle Cloud HCM implementation.
- Excellent client communication and documentation skills.
