We're looking for an IT Spe cia list with a background in desktop support and system administration, and a demonstrated understanding of basic networking concepts to help us manage physical and virtualized servers, using Active Directory Domain Services, Domain Name Service ( DNS ) , Group Policy Management, and File Servers, and the infrastructure that connects them.

As an IT Spe cia list on our project, you'll ensure the current desktop, server, and network infrastructure is secure, functional, and available using tools like event viewer or other Security Incident and Event Management ( SIEM ) to address errors, warnings, and peculiar activity. This is so we can help modernize and optimize the intelligence capabilities of the United States Army to meet the nation's demands. You'll provide customer insight and improve the infrastructure by monitoring system performance, using the latest technologies available, updating and patching critical systems, and providing configuration management.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 administration in an enterprise IT environment
• 2+ years of experience in network operations, including installing and maintaining network devices
• Experience with fiber and copper cable management
• Knowledge of Active Directory TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy Management
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, and reporting
• Ability to troubleshoot and monitor network and system performance, availability, and security using native tools such as Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, and Task Scheduler
• TS / SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Information Assurance Techni cia n Level II Certification
• Micro sof t or Linux Computing Environment Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience managing VMware or other virtualization platforms
• Ability to apply updates, patches, and configuration changes in compliance with IT policies and change management processes
• Ability to maintain and optimize file servers, print services, and related access permissions
• Ability to collaborate with security teams to ensure systems and network devices meet compliance and vulnerability remediation requirements
• Ability to document processes, configurations, and scripts to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing
• Bachelor's degree in an IT field
• Information Assurance Techni cia n Level III Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Asso cia te or Professional Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
