The Agile Development Group (ADG) specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions: - Leading a team to identify and complete assigned program tasking; identifying and removing team's impediments; and managing up.
- Manages team and individually contributes to hands-on system integration and testing activities for a complex hardware/software system.
- Perform design verification testing efforts including lab, chamber, ground, and flight test.
- Assess, troubleshoot, and develop mitigation strategies for complex system issues.
- Fabricate parts, tools.
- Rapidly learn and contribute during design-develop-build-integration|test-verification|validation cycles.
- Collaborates across fast-paced multidisciplinary (mechanical, electrical, specialty engineering) team.
- Guides team and/or as an individual contributor develops and runs simulations and other analysis tools to predict system performance in various environments.
- Analyze data from design verification test efforts.
- Track and present technical performance results.
- Delegates or authors test plan/procedures, non-conformance reports, requirements, and other system engineering CDRLs.
- Explains, interprets, and gains cooperation on policies, procedures, and practices.
- Contributes to trade studies.
- Uses Agile PLM, Sunflower, Windchill.
- Participates in proposal activities, both cost and technical.
- Ability to maintain DoD security clearances as required.
- Ability to lift to 20 lbs.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:- Experience in unmanned aircraft or guided weapon systems.
- System level experience in which the applicant has been involved in the design and integration of complex hardware/software systems, the definition of multiple interfaces and been involved in the trades of multiple solution options.
- Hands-on system integration experience, cross-discipline engineering, verification and validation testing, and system performance characterization.
- Experience with and an understanding of aerospace systems, especially in the development of integrated hardware/software products.
- Experience integrating typical payloads like sensors or communications into air vehicles.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with MATLAB, LabView, Python, or C/C++/C#.
- Experience in Control Account Management as part of an Earned Value Management System.
- Experience with proposal development including generating basis of estimates.
- Experience in development of use cases and requirements developed from customer objectives and concepts of operations.
- Excellent people skills with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).
- Experience using Microsoft Office products.
