AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an OpenText Voltage Application Encryption Engineer to join our growing team.
We are seeking a highly skilled OpenText Voltage Application Encryption Engineer with strong expertise across engineering, automation, and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting application-level data protection solutions using the OpenText Voltage platform, ensuring data security, compliance, and operational excellence across enterprise systems. This role requires hands-on technical depth, strong troubleshooting ability, and experience working in complex enterprise environments.
Job Responsibilities:
Engineering & Implementation
- Design, implement, and configure OpenText Voltage Application Encryption solutions across applications and data platforms.
- Integrate Voltage encryption with application architectures, APIs, databases, and middleware layers.
- Collaborate with application teams, architects, and security stakeholders to ensure secure-by-design implementations.
- Support encryption strategies for data-at-rest, data-in-motion, and data-in-use where applicable.
Automation & Tooling
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows for deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Voltage components.
- Automate operational processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance reliability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices where applicable.
Operations & Support
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 operational support for OpenText Voltage environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security of encryption services.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to encryption, tokenization, key management, and application integration.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of Voltage components.
- Ensure adherence to security, risk, and compliance standards (e.g., data protection, privacy, regulatory requirements).
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Voltage Application Encryption (mandatory).
- Experience across engineering, automation, and operations within security or data protection platforms.
Strong understanding of:
- Application-level encryption and tokenization concepts
- Key management and cryptographic principles
- APIs, web services, and application integration patterns
- Scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document solutions, processes, and operational runbooks.
