Programmer Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

Requirement/Must Have:

• Proficiency in Unix scripting.
• Proficiency in COBOL.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle relational database management systems.
• Strong understanding of system security and compliance standards.

• 3 5 years of IT and business experience in information technology.
• Experience in production support, database design, development, and performance tuning.
• Experience working across multiple hardware and software platforms.
• Experience with UNIX systems and network protocol structures.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Ensure systems comply with corporate policies related to security, licensing, hardware, and software standards.
• Maintain and enhance the existing Customer Data Warehouse application.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture documents, deployment guides, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Collaborate with team members, business clients, and IT partners to deliver effective solutions.
• Coordinate with supervisors or project managers to establish timelines and cost estimates.
• Support system safety practices and promote a safe working environment.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Java.
• Experience with document composition or output management tools.
• QA and testing experience.
• Experience with billing or bill presentment systems.

• Unix scripting.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
