Scrum Master

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Scrum Master to join their team in Orlando, FL. The Scrum Master is responsible for planning and coordinating the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. This role ensures that project stakeholders understand and follow Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. The Scrum Master facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
* Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and practices
* Eliminate project roadblocks and drive continuous improvements
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint
* Collaborate with Product Owners to manage product and project backlogs
* Promote team self-organization and cross-functionality
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
* Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products on time
* Support Agile adoption in environments where it is not fully understood or implemented

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
* 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in Agile project management
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
* Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or similar

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
