Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our San Antonio office. This role is mission-critical as the team builds out the local market, with the opportunity to shape and grow operations well beyond current size.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex geotechnical and construction materials testing projects
• Lead geotechnical investigations, scoping, proposals, budgeting, field investigations, lab testing, and analysis
• Develop practical geotechnical solutions and author comprehensive reports
• Balance technical execution with client engagement (initially ~60/40)
• Build and maintain client relationships across municipal and K-12 markets
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior engineers as the office grows
• Support business development, including identifying opportunities and contributing to marketing strategies

Requirements

• BS in Civil, Geotechnical, or related engineering (MS preferred)
• 5+ years geotechnical engineering experience (7+ ideal)
• 3+ years practicing in San Antonio market
• PE in Texas required
• Experience with municipal/K-12 clients preferred but not required; CMT experience 1-2 years
• Strong technical expertise across earthwork, concrete, analysis, and reporting
• Entrepreneurial mindset with desire to grow a local office
