System One has partnered with a growing Nationwide Manufacturing company with locations located in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, and Oregon seeking to add a valued SAP Architect to their technical team. This organization is undergoing an SAP implementation and seeking a qualified individual who has experience working with various modules of SAP pertaining to finance, production, quality management, and material management. This individual will provide a technical functional expertise as they continue implementing the SAP system across all sites. The opportunity is a permanent, full-time role allowing someone to work remotely with some travel necessary. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Functional Consultant during business process analysis by participating in interviews, workflow analyses, and facilitating discussions with business users.
- Translate user business requirements into comprehensive functional designs for development, testing, and implementation.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues related to business rules, functional requirements, and specifications. Actively contributes to managing the scope of applications and related changes.
- Participate in the UAT phase and go-live period of the SAP S/4 HANA Implementation project, addressing live system issues by engaging internal and external stakeholders, leading root cause analysis, and assessing upstream and downstream change impacts.
- Support quality assurance efforts through functional test case reviews and contribute to user training by creating training materials.
- Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing scope and cost estimates, and optimizing timelines to enhance quality and business outcomes.
- Additional duties as assigned, based on project needs and organizational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced or Master's degree in related field preferred.
- 5-7 years' experience in software development, computer engineering, or related position. 7+ years' experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and with others.
- Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
