SAP GRC Security Consultant with Access Controls

This is a current Mako SAP client, and they are in need for a SAP GRC/Security Consultant with expertise with Access Controls.

Job Title: SAP GRC Security Specialist

Location: Remote Client is based out of North East US

3 Months + extensions

Start Date: Q1 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Access Request Management and Auto Provisioning processes within the SAP GRC module to streamline user access and improve system security.
• Collaborate closely with HR to identify and map composite roles, ensuring efficient role-based access throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement security strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on optimizing SAP functionalities.
• Participate in the development of a table for mapping positions to composite roles, working hand-in-hand with internal business partners.
• Offer guidance and support to ensure seamless integration and operation of GRC functionalities.
• Review existing SAP Security and Rules and perform analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing GRC processes, with a focus on access management and auto provisioning.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating flexibility and strong self-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR and other internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in security management.
