PeopleSoft HCM Test Lead,Remote

UCPath is seeking an experienced Test Lead to support the implementation of risk-based authentication controls within UCPath. This initiative focuses on securing PeopleSoft HCM transactions that impact employee pay and personal information while ensuring access continuity and minimal operational disruption.

This role owns end-to-end testing strategy and execution across UC locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing for PeopleSoft HCM authentication changes
• Ensure business-critical workflows function as intended:
• Direct Deposit
• Contact Details
• Employee self-service access
• Validate:
• Exception handling scenarios
• Employee access continuity
• Release readiness and go-live stability
• Coordinate and execute:
• System testing
• Integration testing
• User acceptance testing
• Partner with business and technical teams to:
• Triage and resolve defects
• Support extended testing cycles
• Ensure secure, performant delivery aligned with UCPath operations
• Provide clear testing status and readiness reporting to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong PeopleSoft HCM testing experience, ideally in a UCPath environment
• End-to-end testing experience related to identity, authentication, and access controls
• Deep understanding of how authentication changes affect:
• Payroll
• Benefits
• Employee access
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-location testing efforts
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to anticipate employee impact and reduce operational risk at go-live

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing authentication or security-related changes in higher education or public-sector environments
• Familiarity working with privacy, legal, or compliance-driven requirements
