The Trellix Admin / Engineer will support federal cybersecurity operations by maintaining, administering, and optimizing Trellix security solutions. This role focuses heavily on Trellix dashboards, monitoring, and operational support.
Core Focus Areas
Primary responsibility (?90% of workload):
Trellix dashboard creation, maintenance, and reporting.
-Provide day-to-day administration and tuning of Trellix security tools (firewalls, sensors, endpoint protection, and other components within the Trellix ecosystem).
-Assist cybersecurity engineering teams with threat detection, triage support, and policy updates.
-Maintain compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, including logging, reporting, and system hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Trellix-based security platforms, ensuring continuous health, visibility, and functionality.
Design, build, and enhance dashboards, alerts, and visualizations within Trellix tools to support SOC analysts, engineers, and leadership.
Monitor Trellix systems for anomalies, operational failures, and performance issues; provide timely remediation.
Apply IAT-II level cybersecurity best practices in accordance with DoD and organizational standards.
Support configuration updates, tuning, and maintenance cycles.
Collaborate with network, system, and cybersecurity teams to ensure Trellix tools integrate smoothly with broader enterprise security infrastructure.
Assist in documentation, runbooks, and operational processes related to Trellix toolsets.

TS/SCI clearance (fully adjudicated).
IAT-II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, etc.).
Experience performing administrative tasks within Trellix or similar enterprise security platforms (e.g., McAfee, FireEye, Endpoint Security suites).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred
-Previous experience supporting federal cybersecurity environments.
-Familiarity with dashboarding, security reporting, and alert creation.
-Strong understanding of endpoint protection, firewalls, and threat detection practices.
-Ability to interface with engineers and mission-critical stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $165000.00 - $215000.00/yr.
