Job Overview

Innovation Accelerator within the Grid Research, Innovation, and Deployment group is driving solutions across energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable integration, and customer experience. As part of the Alpha Project, the team is developing an advanced energy load management device to support electrification initiatives.

We are seeking a mid-level Project Manager (5 9 years of experience) to support planning, execution, and delivery of a high-visibility, multi-year project through 2026. This role is ideal for candidates who are confident managing complex projects while continuing to grow their leadership and strategic project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned project workstreams under general direction

• Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk mitigation

• Apply standard project management methodologies while adapting to evolving or loosely defined project requirements

• Track project performance and proactively address issues, risks, and dependencies

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones

• Maintain project documentation and support management approvals

• Communicate project status, timelines, and risks to stakeholders

• Support budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities

• Assist with project reporting using tools such as PlanisWare and EPIC PMO

• Facilitate recurring project meetings (daily, weekly, and monthly operating reviews)

• Support workstream management and 1-3-10 tactical planning activities

• Capture and share lessons learned and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience

• 5 9 years of project management experience, preferably within utilities, energy, engineering, or infrastructure environments

• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with electric utility Doamin

• Knowledge of the energy or utility sector

• PMP certification or progress toward certification

• Experience working in hybrid or matrixed project environments
