9-1-1 Network Architect

Job Title: 9-1-1 Network Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

• 6 years of related experience in a 9-1-1 planning role
• Proven experience as a network architect or in a similar technical role
• Familiarity and/or hands on experience with legacy 9-1-1 systems and protocols, including CAMA, ISDN, T1/T3, ALI circuits, fiber based network transport, VoIP, and SIP
• Experience with network design and implementation projects
• Strong understanding and experience in planning and project managing the installation and modification of TDM and SIP circuits
• Ability to interpret complex or ambiguous technical situations and resolve problems effectively
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred)
• In depth knowledge of general and 9-1-1 specific network protocols, architecture, and security
• Experience interpreting complex network designs and developing diverse 9-1-1 networks
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or ENP (preferred)
