Job Title: VB.NET Developer

Location: Detroit, MI - Onsite

Duration: 6 months+

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced VB.NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain Windows/Web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in VB.NET and the .NET framework, along with database and application support experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using VB.NET
Work with business analysts to understand requirements and implement solutions
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and testing activities
Support existing applications and resolve production issues

Required Skills:

Strong experience in VB.NET
Hands-on experience with .NET Framework
Experience with SQL Server and database development
Knowledge of Windows Forms / ASP.NET (as applicable)
Familiarity with ADO.NET
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Experience with version control tools (Git, TFS, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with C# is a plus
Knowledge of Web Services / APIs
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
