SAP Datasphere / BW / SAC Consultant

We are looking for a SAP Datasphere / BW / SAC Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale data solutions. This role focuses on building and optimizing robust SAP-based data models, BI systems, and ETL/ELT pipelines to support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable enterprise data solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain backend data models in SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SAP BOBJ

• Develop automated BI reports and dashboards using SAP BO, AO, WebI, Design Studio, SAC

• Optimize on-prem and cloud data solutions for performance, scalability, and sustainability

• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and integration

• Develop and maintain critical business and operational reports

• Analyze historical data to identify trends and provide actionable insights

• Provide technical support and BI tool training to business users

• Troubleshoot data issues, ETL chains, and reporting failures

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing / BI

• Strong experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA modeling, ABAP/4, AMDP

• Experience with ABAP programs, custom objects, HANA Views

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, and transformations

• Expertise in SAP Business Objects (AO, WebI, Design Studio)

• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools

• Experience with SAP Datasphere

• Exposure to cloud platforms: Azure / AWS / SAP Cloud

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Python or R experience

• Predictive analytics and advanced data modeling exposure

• Manufacturing or supply chain analytics experience
