About the RoleWe are seeking a
Technician to support manufacturing, testing, and assembly operations. In this role, you will work from schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions to perform testing, fabrication, modification, and assembly activities. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure production quality and process accuracy.
Responsibilities- Perform design support, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly activities using manufacturing test development or diagnostic equipment.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, written instructions, and verbal directions to execute assigned tasks.
- Support engineers with setup and calibration activities.
- Perform rework and quality testing for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Assist in developing and improving manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Collect design or production data and support research or process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Follow all work instructions, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior mechanical experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read and follow schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written or verbal instructions.
- Basic knowledge of and ability to safely use hand tools and standard shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior assembly experience.
- Experience working on or supporting military vehicles or similar heavy mechanical equipment.
Skills & Competencies- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow simple and detailed instructions.
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment.
