Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and implement high-performance Essbase applications to support complex analytical requirements
2. Optimize existing Essbase applications for performance and scalability, utilizing advanced features and methodologies
3. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
4. Conduct thorough testing and validation of Essbase calculations and data integrity to ensure high-quality deliverables
5.Provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
6. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance our analytical capabilities
Qualifications
1. 6+ years of experience in Essbase development and administration.
2. Strong understanding of multidimensional database concepts and OLAP technologies.
3. Proven experience in building complex calculations and data models within Essbase.
4. Expertise in SQL and relational databases, with the ability to integrate with various data sources.
5.Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and other Oracle EPM tools.
6. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power Bl.
7. Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and ETL processes.
