Responsibilities
- Lead the design of robust, scalable and reusable ETL/ELT solutions to support business and analytical needs
- Direct the development and maintenance of data extraction, transformation and loading processes across various sources and destinations
- Oversee the building of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data systems in modern cloud environments
- Optimize data workflows to ensure efficiency and reliability across teams
- Guide collaboration among engineers, analysts and stakeholders to support effective data integration and workflow processes
- Set best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality engineering solutions for data ingestion, transformation and provisioning
- Mentor and support team members to foster technical growth and ensure project success
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data integration and data warehousing
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks
- Skills in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases for data processing and querying
- Knowledge of orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
- Expertise in Snowflake or similar cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS for data warehousing and storage
- Understanding of modern data engineering tools and concepts including performance optimization, data architecture and pipeline scalability
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills with a proactive mindset focused on efficient and timely delivery
- B2 English proficiency level or higher
Nice to have
- Skills in Databricks for unified data analytics and processing
- Background in integrating diverse data sources across modern cloud platforms
- Familiarity with other scripting languages to enhance automation and integration tasks
- Understanding of advanced data management and modeling techniques
